Dr. George Paul Greenacre is a General Dentist in Ottawa, Ontario in Canada. This episode is 22 minutes long and is woven together from short recordings made by Lynn Thompson with Dr. Greenacre in 2017.
Dental Audio Bites with Dr. Greenacre talking on various topics in segments: hockey health, his background and insights, jaw function, animal dentistry, and overall, how dental health is linked to overall health.
Background: Dr. G. Paul Greenacre graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec in 1970. For almost ten years during his 50 years (so far) in clinical dental practice, Dr. Greenacre was a Dental Editor. Highlights include: Co-Editor of the McGill Dental Review, Dental Editor for Medifacts/Dentafacts, and Dental Editor for the Canadian Dental Association (CDA). With the CDA, he traveled all over North America for seven years, hearing dentists and doctors talk at seminars and then interviewing them. He became curious about how the mouth is the mirror of all disease. Dr. Greenacre was also Editor of the CDA’s Monthly Continuing Education Program, with 48 interview programs and booklets created.
Dr. Greenacre writes about mouth medicine, he consults, he teaches, and he enjoys practicing dentistry. He is an avid hockey player; in 1980 he wrote an article on Sports Dentistry for the Canadian Coaching Association and discussed the implications of craniomandibular health to sports and performance. Dr. Greenacre has written booklets and articles in magazines (Tone, and Health Matters) for his patients on orthodontics, nutrition, the ABCDs of Dentistry, and Smart Dentistry for Smart Families.

Lynn Thompson on the phone with Dr. Bruce Lipton in 2006 after he self-published his best-selling book The Biology of Belief. This podcast is 1:40:12 and covers a lot of ground.
Bruce H. Lipton, PhD is a cell biologist and lecturer and an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit. Bruce performed groundbreaking stem-cell research at Stanford University after being on the faculty of the University of Wisconsin’s School of Medicine. He is also the best-selling author of The Honeymoon Effect, and Spontaneous Evolution. Bruce received the prestigious Goi Peace Award (Japan) in 2009 in honor of his scientific contribution to world harmony.
Based on his own experiments, and those of other leading-edge scientists, Bruce speaks about the mechanisms by which cells receive and process information. This research shows that DNA is controlled by signals from outside the cell, including the messages emanating from our positive and negative thoughts.

Excerpt from Deepak Chopra MD's review of The Biology of Belief: "Bruce’s insights and research created the basis of the epigenetic revolution that is now laying the foundation for a consciousness-based understanding of biology."
You'll hear Bruce refer fondly to the musical group YES because "These guys are saying a lot of things out the ordinary rock 'n roll kind of story, they're talking about the light and the spirit, and I realized that in the end, when my science began to make sense, it was exactly what they were singing about! And they say it in nice poetry in a few lines and I have to spend chapters to bring it into the science."

Alan is familiar with adversity, bouncing back from setbacks, and facing fear. Lynn's long-time friend is the tenth Canadian to summit the world's tallest peak, Mt. Everest. Three years following that incredible accomplishment, Alan was diagnosed with the very aggressive blood cancer, acute leukemia, and given less than a year to live. Through a long, intensive journey of treatment, today he is one of less than a few dozen people in the world ever to regain an elite level of fitness after an adult blood stem cell transplant for the treatment of leukemia.
Alan has been a guest on Oprah and has written seven books. He has created, with philanthropic effort, the world's first program for those newly diagnosed with cancer, called The Climb Back from Cancer Survivorship Program. The program is available through SurviveCANcer.ca

Lynn Thompson speaking with John Heney (in Ottawa, Ontario Canada) about Spiritual Mechanics applied to conditions on the planet in April 2020.
From 2014 recordings, see Part 1 Spiritual Mechanic John Heney.
John Heney provides mentoring, talks, instruction, groups, writing, humour and demonstration in applying the wisdom of what he calls Spiritual Mechanics. All in a lighthearted approach to lessen our load and raise our effectiveness in making the world a better place.
Born in Montreal in 1956, John holds a Bachelor of Journalism with Political Science and a Master’s in International Affairs. He has authored three books and contributed to eight more in applying his love of writing and research, also folding in his passion of history as a means to convey how people are so interconnected. He holds the City of Ottawa Distinguished Service Award.
The fun he loves to harvest and share off his work with the principles around Spiritual Mechanics touches the lives of so many, including children, teachers, parents, public safety workers, and those in the traditional and alternative healing arts. His personal journey included a complex challenge facing a rare combination of five neurological disorders including a form of cerebral palsy and dystonia. This has led to a profound well of awareness and appreciation he continues to share with people from all walks of life. As he so often expresses, “We need more low-maintenance, high-benefit individuals ready to express the divinity they already have access to, as an inspiration breathing new life into how we create with and among each other!” It is, he says, all in becoming a person you’d love to meet! John invites you to visit Heney Central to explore his work and offerings. Thank you for listening.

From such modest beginnings when Angela and I began working on I Just Want Peace with Sandy, its completion and publication is breathtaking. Your painstaking editing has led to an incredible body of work and a wonderful read. —Gillian Hibbs
Lynn, you were an absolute JOY to work with! You show infinite patience and presence making me feel seen, heard, and valued! You have cultivated so much focus, but are always game to have fun! You are a super talented writer and diligent and detailed editor. Your awareness is unrivaled, yet you are unruffled. The way you honoured Sandy’s legacy and embraced every new person added to the team was phenomenal! Collaborating with you was a dream, we were so attuned, even over Zoom, it was like our minds merged in purpose and play-fullness! Knowing you is a true and beautiful Blessing! It’s so incredible what can be accomplished when a set of stellar communicators are led by a star like YOU, Lynn Thompson! —Kristi Birnie
A great tribute to you, Lynn. I concur with Kristi on how much infinite patience, presence, and passion you had for this book project throughout and how I felt seen and heard, grateful to learn some of the ins and outs of editing. I feel like a beginner’s mind in so many ways. Such attention to detail and making everything appear to be seamless, more fun, and just more than the sum of its parts that you tracked so well. It was a meaningful creative process that I secretly never wanted to end. But then we’d be denying the world of a great legacy book and to give Peace a better chance. Congratulations, Sandy and Team Peace! —Christina Ireland
I concur with everything Kristi said. You have shown infinite patience, Lynn, with all of us throwing in different edits, you have welcomed each and every one of us and responded with kindness. You are an awesome editor and have been a profound help to Sandy and her legacy book. Well done and thank you! —Sue Reynard

Lynn Thompson is a most attentive, thorough, and enthusiastic editor.
Anyone writing their first or tenth book would be lucky to have Lynn on their team.
Her attention to detail is outstanding.
Her gentle and clever suggestions created an inspiring working atmosphere for me
as I completed my first novel.
Once Upon A Solar Time.
I highly recommend Lynn as your editor.
The Woo Woo Way
"Cindy Childress, PhD, The Expert’s Ghostwriter, book-writing coach, and mentor, reawakened my love of storytelling and helped develop my writing style. Once we completed the developmental editing, I needed to find a copy editor. Who knew there was more than one kind of editing? My publisher, Becky Norwood of Spotlight Publishing House, introduced me to several copy editors to interview. I chose Lynn Thompson of Living on Purpose Communications.
"I thank Lynn for creating a collaborative approach in editing my book, chapter by chapter, line by line. With some of my lessons, she helped assemble bridges to connect ideas. Editing takes focused time,
so it’s great that we often laughed with abandon and talked aloud to Grammarly. There’s nothing better than a good belly laugh for healing. How perfect, since healing is the theme of my book."

She has a deep and abiding belief that by continuing to educate ourselves, to think and talk about ideas and events, we will become a more robust democratic society.
By opening ourselves to the interchange of ideas and knowledge, we will be more able to combat propaganda, lies, abuse of power, and threats of violence.

In memory of Mom and Dad who were always there for me. My bond with Mom reached new depths throughout the years I cared for her and as she expressed her incredible love for me.
Thanks to Denise M. Brown for your caregiver consultant training program and the many opportunities you provided, including giving me the foundation and tools to begin helping family caregivers. Thanks to my partner, Dennis, for your love, patience, support, and understanding while I wrote this book. Thanks to Junie Swadron, Theresa Wilbanks, and Lynn Thompson for your editorial guidance and encouragement and for making writing this book a fantastically fun journey. Like caregiving, writing a book is not a solo activity, and you each brought this message to life and gave it wings. It takes a community to write a good book. Steve Harrison, his coaching staff, and his group of authors provided education, guidance, and inspiration to keep me engaged and clear that my message is important and needs a voice. I greatly appreciate my first readers, Dennis Dulniak, Helen Carter, and Karen Briskey. A huge thank you to Maggie Morgan and Theresa Wilbanks for your marketing and social media expertise, and Becky Norwood, for all you and your staff accomplished to get my book published on time and with love and enthusiasm for this project.
Gratitude to all the caregivers I have met and coached. You validated over and over that this book and the information in it change lives. While the worries, mistakes, and concerns are real, you have created meaningful journeys through effective communication, asking for help, making memories, and celebrating with the loved ones in your care.
