Sandy Levey-Lunden, seminar leader, life coach, and personal counselor, founded her coaching company, On Purpose, in 1982. She developed The Power of Clearing Process for healing emotional and spiritual wounds. Her “Clearing Process” is used throughout North American by many counselors and coaches because of the simple and effective approach.
“When we don’t deal with the trauma left behind from abuse and misperceptions, we live in a cloud of fear, guilt and negativity,” Levey-Lunden adds. “That guilt and fear cements repeated patterns of behaviour, which perpetuates an increasing downward cycle of poor health, failed relationships and negative thinking.”
Sandy’s workshops are held within a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. With Sandy’s expertise and guidance, she helps participants to relearn communication skills and transform their lives. She quotes Wayne Dyer, “When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change.”
In 2008, Lynn Thompson became aware of Sandy and her Youth on Purpose project in Sweden in the mid-1990s. A copy of the DVD The Difference was in a friend’s home where she was visiting. Lynn called Sandy’s number on the back of the DVD (in Bellingham, Washington), and found out that she and Len Satov (of Vancouver, BC in Canada) were going to be on Vancouver Island the next day, Sandy’s first return to the Island in five years. Some things in life obviously Want to Happen, and so the three of them met up the next day near Nanaimo, BC to talk about recording a conversation, which happened a few days later after Sandy and Len had worked with a family “up island” in Campbell River.
In January 2021, Sandy was referred to Lynn through her network when looking for an editor in preparation to publish her book about her life work and courses (which now number 24!). The magic continues! The next step was for Lynn to edit the audio of this 40-minute recording from 2008. Yellow Point Lodge by the beach was the location for the first half, with the conclusion in the ferry line-up when Sandy and Len were waiting to catch the ferry for Vancouver.

Lynn Thompson on the phone with Dr. Bruce Lipton in 2006 after he self-published his best-selling book The Biology of Belief. This podcast is 1:40:12 and covers a lot of ground.
Bruce H. Lipton, PhD is a cell biologist and lecturer and an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit. Bruce performed groundbreaking stem-cell research at Stanford University after being on the faculty of the University of Wisconsin’s School of Medicine. He is also the best-selling author of The Honeymoon Effect, and Spontaneous Evolution. Bruce received the prestigious Goi Peace Award (Japan) in 2009 in honor of his scientific contribution to world harmony.
Based on his own experiments, and those of other leading-edge scientists, Bruce speaks about the mechanisms by which cells receive and process information. This research shows that DNA is controlled by signals from outside the cell, including the messages emanating from our positive and negative thoughts.

You'll hear Bruce refer fondly to the musical group YES because "These guys are saying a lot of things out the ordinary rock 'n roll kind of story, they're talking about the light and the spirit, and I realized that in the end, when my science began to make sense, it was exactly what they were singing about! And they say it in nice poetry in a few lines and I have to spend chapters to bring it into the science."
